March 2017: Longlist announcement! Wonderful to hear that The Tigon and the Liger is on the Little Rebels Children’s Book Award longlist. The award celebrates books that promote social equality and challenge stereotypes.
02/03/17 and 03/03/17 Celebrating books with some little tigers and lions! In celebration of World Book Day I spent a day at Bessemer Grange primary school and Ponsbourne St Mary’s primary school. The wonderful students (and teachers!) at Ponsbourne St Mary’s blew me away by dressing up as tigers and lions for my visit!
16/12/16: A fun morning workshop! I spent a lovely morning working with a group of children at the very first London Children’s Book Fair at the Parasol unit, Old Street. After my event, I was interviewed by Sky News China on the importance of diversity in children’s publishing!
